Support
Answers to common questions, and how to reach us when they don't cover it.
We usually reply within two business days. Include your device (iPhone or Android) and, for a question about a specific practice question, the exam and what the question says.
Subscriptions
What does a subscription include?
Every exam in the app, on iPhone and Android, for the account you subscribed with. You can pay monthly, every 3 months or yearly. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. The current prices are shown in the app before you subscribe.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, so you cancel there:
- iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then CloudCertified.
- Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Can I get a refund?
Apple and Google process all payments, so refunds are requested from them:
- App Store: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose "Request a refund".
- Google Play: follow Google's steps at support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637.
I subscribed but the app says I haven't
Make sure you're signed in with the same account you subscribed with, then use Restore purchases in the app's settings. If that doesn't fix it, email us with the date of your purchase. Don't send your full receipt or card details.
Studying
How does the daily number of questions work?
When you set your exam date, the app spreads every question in the exam's bank across the days before it, so you see them all by the day before your exam. If you miss a day, those questions come first the next day and the remaining days get slightly more. If you fall behind your starting pace, the app offers to keep your date or move it.
How do I change my exam date or switch exams?
Open the Exams tab, choose your exam, and set a new date. Switching to a different exam keeps your progress on the first one, so you can come back to it later. Changing the date in the app doesn't change your actual exam booking; reschedule that with Microsoft separately.
I think an answer is wrong
Tap the flag at the top of the question and choose "I disagree with the answer". Tell us why, and suggest the right answer if you know it. Every report is reviewed, and confirmed problems are fixed in the question bank.
Do I need an account?
No. You can study on one device without an account, and your progress stays on that device. An account syncs your progress across devices and is needed for a subscription.
Your account and data
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. This removes your sign-in account and all of your study data, both on our servers and on that phone, so the app starts fresh as if newly installed. It doesn't cancel a subscription, so cancel that with Apple or Google as described above. No longer have the app? See how to delete your account by email.
What data do you keep?
Without an account, nothing: your progress stays on your device. With an account, we keep your email address (and an identifier if you sign in with Apple, Google or Microsoft), your study plan and answers, your saved questions, any reports you send, and your subscription status. Personal notes stay on your device. No ads, no tracking, no analytics. The full details are in the privacy policy.
Is CloudCertified part of Microsoft?
No. CloudCertified is an independent study companion and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. To book or manage a Microsoft certification exam, use Microsoft Learn.
